Thanks for sharing this in my comments today, Tim. I giggled a bit when you hit the restaurant analogy. Had me worried they were serving dog poop at your fictional dining establishment, too. I know several authors who have had an agent for 2, 5, 10 years with nothing published, which is why the whole process of "Getting an agent" is so daunting. It's still just another "maybe" on your quest to getting published.
